Japanese Meiji Era Bronze Sumi Ink Well with applied figures & silver flower. Unsigned with age spotting, this ink well has hinged top with metal applied bee ontop missing left wing. On the front a bird in flight nears a beautiful silver flower. All are applied metal artworks and expertly crafted. Plants are etched into the base near flower as shown and an etched line maybe portraying mountains goes around the top. Inner ink pot appears to be a silver alloy too!
